Dates: (please select a course date)
If none of the scheduled dates work for you, a private session can be arranged for a group of three or more people. Please get in touch via the contact form to discuss this.
Duration: 1 day (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Cost: CHF 280 (includes standard materials: cotton fabric, straps, and zipper)
Capacity: Maximum 4 participants
Location: OUTDOORWERK GmbH, Ghöchstrasse 161, 8498 Gibswil
Map link: Please check the location beforehand. There is no direct public transport access (please contact Outdoorwerk for guidance); arriving by car using a navigation system is recommended.
Important information about the bag design:
The pattern for this travel bag is simple and minimalist, featuring one main compartment. Depending on the time available, side or interior pockets can also be added. The bag is unlined, making it very lightweight and easy to pack down small, while still offering a huge capacity for your travels.
Fabric selection: Options are limited. We provide a selection of suitable, high-quality cotton fabrics. The fabric weight and finish must be appropriate for the design to ensure a great result. Material: Stotz Ventile recycled cotton. Available colors: gray-blue anthracite (as shown in the photo), ultramarine, black, dark green (NATO green/dark olive), or burgundy.
Nylon carrying straps, encased in goatskin, are adjustable in length.
There is insufficient time for complex, large-scale custom additions.
You may provide your own fabric (which should have a weight of at least 400 g/m²) if you prefer not to use one selected by OUTDOORWERK (please contact OUTDOORWERK if you are unsure). Finding a suitable fabric for a bag—one that offers a reasonable degree of water resistance—is not easy; factors such as fabric thickness, texture, and coating must all be just right.
