Hand sewn custom leather belt with 3D printed titanium buckle,
traditional craftsmanship meets high tech.
Titanium buckle
3D-printed (additive process) from high-strength aircraft titanium Ti6AlV4 (class 5)*.
This additive process allows connections (mandrel and buckle in one pass) and a surface structure which is not possible by CNC machining.
Surface is trovalized (slide ground) and sandblasted with corundum, giving a beautiful matte finish.
Absolutely rustproof, lightweight and strong - lasts a lifetime!
The buckle shape is based on the old Swiss military belt (those who know this system would not want anything else)
Closure technique: belt end is put behind the belt after the spike.

Traditional saddler craft: hand sewn, edges planed, sealed and greased with bee balm
Belt is unbleached and undyed and therefore has a beautiful patina from day one
Determine belt length
To determine the exact length of the belt, there are several ways. We recommend the following procedure. So that your belt can be made to measure, we need this measurement from you.
Determine the waist measurement on the belt: Take your most worn belt and measure from the inner buckle end (see picture drawing) to the spike hole. This is your waist measurement.
Enter this length in cm when ordering (checkout) under "Comments on order and delivery".
From your measurement we will determine the total length (about 15cm longer than the hole).
Unless otherwise requested, we will punch two additional holes to the left and right of your "ideal hole". This makes a total of five holes.
*Additive process by SLM (Selective Laser Melting): thin titanium powder layer is applied, laser fuses the powder parts on this layer, next powder layer is applied, laser fuses etc. until the part is finished.
